Founded in 2025

What is EPIC?

E.P.I.C. is an acronym for: El Padro Inclusive Community. Originally founded in 2025 on the beautiful El Padro Street neighborhood.

Mission

To cultivate an inclusive, creative, and compassionate Riverside community where neighbors connect, contribute, and celebrate belonging — through shared experiences in arts, culture, meals, and family traditions.

THE STORY

ABOUT EPIC RIVERSIDE

After becoming residents of the El Padro neighborhood in 2021, we quickly fell in love with its character and sense of community. As we began decorating for Halloween and Christmas, we naturally became more involved and recognizable in the neighborhood—especially as our displays grew into fully immersive experiences. We went all out with animatronics, DIY decorations, simple lighting, music, movie projection, and even hosted weekend festivities for everyone to enjoy. It was simply out of passion and love for the season.

What started as holiday decorating soon evolved into an annual tradition known as El Padro Manor, drawing hundreds of families each season from across the Inland Empire. Each year, there was an unspoken expectation to go bigger, better, and bring fresh ideas to life—and we embraced that challenge wholeheartedly, no matter how exhausting and the expense.

By 2025, something truly special was happening. People would stop by while we were still setting up, asking about our story and sharing their own. Families told us they had been visiting for years, that they looked forward to our displays every season, and that it had become part of their own traditions. Many expressed how much the experience meant to them—that it brought joy, excitement, and something the community genuinely needed.

The gratitude and appreciation were overwhelming in the best way. It made us realize how powerful these shared moments could be. And it sparked a bigger idea: why limit this kind of joy to just a few holidays? Why not create opportunities year-round for people to come together?
Our community deserves more reasons to celebrate, more chances to connect, and more shared experiences that bring our neighbors together. If something as simple as decorating can do that, then maybe it’s only the beginning.
